idam pavitram param isa-cestitam
yasasyam ayusyam aghaugha-marsanam
yo nityadakarnya naro ’nukirtayed
dhunoty agham kaurava bhakti-bhavatah
Translation by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada:
The great sage Maitreya concluded: If one hears and again narrates, with faith and devotion, this story of the Daksa yajña as it was conducted by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Visnu, then certainly one is cleared of all contamination of material existence, O son of Kuru.
