gopyas ca dayitam krsnam

 anuvrajyanurañjitah

pratyadesam bhagavatah

 kanksantyas cavatasthire

 

Translation: 

 

[With His glances] Lord Krsna somewhat pacified the gopis, and they also followed behind for some time. Then, hoping He would give them some instruction, they stood still.
