kaccid vah kusalam brahman

 rajato yasya hi prajah

sukham vasanti visaye

 palyamanah sa me priyah

 

Translation: 

 

O brahmana, is your King attending to your welfare? Indeed, that king in whose country the citizens are happy and protected is very dear to Me.
