sakhyuh priyasya viprarser

 anga-sangati-nirvrtah

prito vyamuñcad ab-bindun

 netrabhyam puskareksanah

 

Translation: 

 

The lotus-eyed Supreme Lord felt intense ecstasy upon touching the body of His dear friend, the wise brahmana, and thus He shed tears of love.
