sannikarso ’tra martyanam
anadarana-karanam
gangam hitva yathanyambhas
tatratyo yati suddhaye
Translation:
In this world familiarity breeds contempt. For example, one who lives on the banks of the Ganges might travel to some other body of water to be purified.
