aham ca samsmarita atma-tattvam

 srutam pura me paramarsi-vaktrat

prayopavese nrpateh pariksitah

 sadasy rsinam mahatam ca srnvatam

 

Translation: 

 

I also have now been fully reminded of the science of God, which I previously heard from the mouth of the great sage Sukadeva Gosvami. I was present in the assembly of great sages who heard him speak to King Pariksit as the monarch sat fasting until death.
