purana-samhitam etam

 adhitya prayato dvijah

proktam bhagavata yat tu

 tat padam paramam vrajet

 

Translation: 

 

A brahmana who diligently reads this essential compilation of all the Puranas will go to the supreme destination, which the Supreme Lord Himself has herein described.
